That Old Gaff on
Meatham Estate
This is an original play by Vinicius Salles that places the audience inside a collapsing moral trial. Set within a confined space, three women face an impossible command: one of them must die so the other two may continue living. The voyeuristic structure raises questions about who we judge, why we judge, and how social pressure shapes forms of survival.
The project is currently in development, supported by Theatre Deli, and is now seeking funding and donations to allow the work to come to life.

This story explores how we navigate life's uncertainties through the journey of a little paper boat adrift on uncharted seas. As it embarks on a fantastical adventure, the boat discovers resilience amidst the challenges of a world increasingly shaped by environmental change. Infused with insightful humour, the performance blends physical theatre, quirky characterizations, evocative text, and dance to bring this tale to life. Audiences are invited on a poetic journey that challenges perceptions and reflects on how children grow up in a world marked by the unpredictable impacts of climate change.

Bio
I am an artist working with immersive performance, movement, and interdisciplinary practice. My work challenges conventional storytelling through personal narratives, technology, design, and collaboration. I explore identity and perception alongside feminist, queer, and political discourse, creating immersive experiences that question traditional performance structures.
My practice spans over 35 years. I trained in Performing Arts at Martins Pena in Brazil and later completed a Master’s degree in Documentary Film at UAL in London. I have collaborated with leading Brazilian and UK physical theatre and dance companies, including Punchdrunk, Gecko, and Jasmin Vardimon Company. As a rehearsal director with Jasmin Vardimon Company and Punchdrunk, and as a co performer and workshop leader with Punchdrunk since 2005, I have contributed to the creation and refinement of immersive performances.
My work has been supported by Arts Council England and presented internationally. Projects include The Shop for Mortals and All Fools commissioned by Stanley Arts and presented in 2025, Delilah and Other Disasters commissioned by Stanley Arts Croydon in 2024, Uncharted Waters Are Navigable by Little Paper Boats commissioned by Jasmin Vardimon Company in 2024, and We Might Briefly Resonate which received Best Short Dance Film at the Mokkho International Film Festival in 2023. Earlier works include If I Write a Letter with My Body, Tutu Trouble and OX funded by Arts Council England, The Whole Shabang!, Disruptive Narratives, The Return of the Unknown, and Glitch; Copycat 2009; NoContact, commissioned by The Place, 2007.
My practice focuses on dismantling fixed performance formats and creating immersive encounters that blur the line between audience and performer.
